Despite being 4 miles from Gatwick Airport and enjoying links to the M23 & M25, Stanhill Court offers Peace & Tranquillity, “as it’s not a flight path”. Instead you can enjoy verdant countryside and wildlife roaming free, including deer, grazing sheep & cows. Stanhill Court Hotel was built in 1881 by William Young in Scottish Baronial style, The house has stunning features such as pitch pine panelling with elaborate carvings throughout the hall, minstrel’s gallery and barrel roof, enhanced by original stained glass windows depicting the family coat of arms, which set the scene for the many delights to be found within. Stanhill Court hotel was renovated and opened as a Hotel 14 years ago and now comprises of 34 en~Suite bedrooms (many of which are 4 poster), 10 conference rooms, the award winning ‘ 1881’ Restaurant, Open-Air Amphitheatre and secluded Victorian walled garden. Stanhill Court Hotel has recently been awarded 2 rosettes from the AA for the 1881 Restaurant together with the ‘Most Romantic Hotel’ award for the Hotel.
