Located in the northern of the city of Bologna, just in the important Industrial Area of Castel Maggiore, the Hotel Nettuno is also next to “Centergross” that is, indeed, the most important European quarter for the wholesale trade. Either you are travelling for job purposes or pleasure purposes we want to offer you a warm welcome and a comfortable stay. The city of Bologna is just a few Kilometres away and within easy reach by car or by taxi. The hotel lounge has been projected to offer relax and pleasure. At the Bar we will be glad to welcome you for a cocktail or a snack. The whole ground floor is well furnished in a classic style while, in a separate area, you can access to our free Internet Point. It is moreover possible to connect your Pc to our wireless Internet everywhere. With our 120 rooms we are at your disposal to make your stay more pleasant! Every room can be double or twin and it is always equipped with individual air conditioning, phone, hair-dryer, free courtesy set, mini-bar, TV, Pay-tv, Cable Internet connection (4 Megabit). Some rooms are equipped with 2,10 mt. Beds, orthopaedic beds, safe boxes, in room tea service . Some rooms have a balcony, while our triples have a single bed and a bunk bed. All the rooms, moreover, can be smoking, no-smoking or for disable. In our opinion a good start is a great beginning! This is the reason for which our Cold Buffet Breakfast is really remarkable. At least 7 types of sweet pastries, home made cakes, a variety of breads and not less than 15 types of fruit juices; these are just few delicatesses that you will find in our Buffet. If you need to work, our Congress & Meeting facilities are the right solution. Three rooms up to 250 sq metres ready for meetings, conventions, shows, exhibitions, parades for up to 200 people. We will be at your disposal to make your work time really pleasant and relaxing. Our staff is also at your disposal to organize lunches and coffee-breaks at our restaurant “Catherine”. The restaurant “Catherine” is waiting to let you taste the real Bolognese cuisine. Our “sfoglina” will be glad to introduce you about the secrets of the hand-made pasta: tagliatelle, tortellini, ricotta tortelloni and lasagne are the best solution for your lunch or dinner. The hotel has a well equipped fitness room for your free time or just to be on fit. Our cars can be rented for your movements needs. |

| Getting There |
By train: From Train station it is possible to reach the hotel only by taxi as the area is not served by public transport. By car: If you are arriving from Padua exit at Bologna Interporto. After the pay-toll turn right. At first road crossing take direction to “Bologna” or “Centergross”. Go straight ahead for 2 Km. At the roundabout go again straight ahead for 1,5 Km. Turn left in the hotel street. If you coming from Milan, from Florence or from Ancona get into Bologna Ring Road and exit at n.6 (Castel Maggiore). From there follow the signs to the hotel. By Plane: From the airport it is possible to reach the hotel only by taxi as the area is not served by public transport. You can also rent a car and follow our directions. |

Large car parking on street. The hotel has also a private not guarded car parking. The area is normally quiet. The hotel offers also a secure undercover garage at the extra charge of € 5,00 per day. |
| Things To Do |
Get lost in the ancient medieval centre. The area is one of the best conserved in the world (like John Grisham describes in the novel "The Brooker"). Visit the city walking around or get a daily bus tour (12 different languages). Also visit the "Archiginnasio" the "Pinacoteca", the "Palazzo Comunale", the university area, the "Mambo" museum or climb the 498 steps to the top of the Asinelli medieval tower (one of the two towers in Bologna). Visit the St.Luke sanctuary on the top of the hills and discover the Madonna that has protected Bologna for many centuries. The sanctuary is connected to the city by a portico that is indeed the longest in world (3,7 km). Also Bologna is well known worldwide for the cuisine. Tortellini, Lasagne and Bolognese sauce are the products that made Bologna famous in the world, so eat in a typical “Osteria” or choose. And if you fancy luxury cars visit Ducati or Ferrari factory (book with advance and upon availability). |
