With over 30 rooms, The Clarendon offers 20's style guesthouse rooms containing brass beds and ensuites.Also modern air-conditioned motel rooms with queen size beds and ensuites are available. Some budget rooms,non-ensuite (but with hand basins) suitable for budget concious travellers are available. A cosy cocktail bar and lounge each contain real log fires and are popular attractions in the winter months. The outdoor swimming pool provides a refreshing summer attraction, and is open until late throughout the summer months. Other attractions include restaurant, games room, sauna, and gym. Winter is the most popular time of year as The Clarendon hosts its famous 'Yulefest' (xmas in July) weekend theatre packages. With a three and a half star rating, The Clarendon is situated five minutes away from the world famous three sisters. It is the ideal venue for romantic interludes, business conferences, family holidays or just a great weekend with friends. |

By car: From Sydney, a two hour drive along the M4 is the quickest and most direct way to reach Katoomba. Once in Katoomba, Lurline Street runs parallel to Katoomba Street which the main street in the town. By train: Trains leave Central station every hour each day. The journey takes just two relaxing hours. The Clarendon is within walking distance from Katoomba station (about 8 mins) |
