Stylish four star 2 bedroom self-contained cottages set in the tranquillity of 27 acres clustered in the bushland of Khappinghat National Park, Chiltern Lodge is set in the beautiful Manning Valley on the Mid North Coast.

Each cottage sleeps up to six people and are thoughtfully set up as a home away from home. Cosy wood fired heaters and air conditioning make it a great venue all year round. We are a small resort with big facilities – swimming pool, heated spa, recreation room and beautiful gardens and tracks for walking and bike riding.

All this, and we are just a short seven minute drive to pristine beaches and the seaside village of Old Bar.

Gumnut Cottage

Stylish 2 bedroom fully self-contained cottage. Thoughtfully equipped as a home away from home. Cosy woodfired heating and air conditioning for your comfort. The cottage is spotlessly clean and comfortable with comfy cane furniture on the verandah.
Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $15.00. Extra children $10.00. The room caters for a maximum of 4 adults, and a maximum of 2 children but cannot exceed 6 guests in total.

Getting There	Chiltern Lodge Country Retreat is only 2 hours drive north of Newcastle (or 1 hour south of Port Macquarie). Take the Taree/Old Bar exit from the Pacific Highway and follow the Old Bar signage. Metz Road is on the right exactly 5½ km further on. We have a large blue and white Chiltern Lodge sign on the left hand side at the junction. Chiltern Lodge is 1km along Metz Road on the left.
Parking	There is a carspace at the rear of each cottage or undercover parking in the carport across the drive from cottage #4 (Blue Gum Cottage).
Things To Do	- Explore the beautiful Manning Valley. - On our doorstep: Spectacular surfing locations, 4WD access to beaches and National Parks, river and beach fishing. -Walking and bike riding. -Less than a 30 minute drive away: horse riding, fun parks, three great golf courses and historic towns to visit.
