Opononi Lighthouse Motel is a Qualmark 3 star plus property. We are situated opposite the sand dunes on the Hokianga Harbour. Come and kick back under the palms and watch dolphins playing in the waves. Opononi Lighthouse Motel has twelve units available for accommodation. All our units are self contained with queen and single beds. The one and two bedroom units have kitchen and dining facilities. Other features include onsite BBQ and private spa pool. Beachfront accommodation in a quiet seaside village. We are on the Twin Coast Discovery Highway at opononi, 85 kms north of Dargaville. |

Located in Opononi on the Twin Coast Discovery Highway (State Highway 12) overlooking Hokianga Harbour. From Auckland travel north on State Highway 1, turning off at Brynderwyn (left turn). You will then be travelling on the Twin Coast Discovery Highway (State Highway 12). Travel through Dargaville and continue on the same highway. Opononi is 85kms north of Dargaville. |

Hokianga Harbour Tour - take a tour of the Hokianga harbour, stopping at historical points and towns located on the Harbour. Sand Dune Boarding down the high sand dunes located on the opposite side of the harbour from the Motel. Transport and boards provided by the Hokianga Express tour operator based in Opononi. |
