The Hotel Rex is a modern and comfortable 3 star hotel situated nearby Medici's chapels and the Duomo, in the heart of the historical city Florence, 200 metres from the central Railway station of Santa Maria Novella and from the congress center. The hotel have been recently renovated and all 30 rooms are equipped with private bathrooms with shower or tub, air conditioning, tv with satellite, telephone with direct outside line, minibar and hairdryer. |

Rate is for up to 3 persons in a triple room with one king size bed & one single bed. No extra bed can be added for an adult but 1 extra child up to 4 years old can stay free without additionnal bedding. Rates are for 3 people. FROM FIRENZE (VESPUCCI) AIRPORT: By Taxi: It will take 20 minutes and cost is almost 25 Euro till hotel. By Auto Bus: There is a bus service untill piazza stazione and we are just 3 minutes by walk from there. BY CAR FROM MILAN/ROME: If you are coming by car from Milan or Rome you have to take the same exit of Firenze nord and follow the direction for CENTRO or STAZIONE DI S.M.N. As well as you arrive onto main railway station of Santa Maria Novella you may get in the Piazza unita italiana and then via Faenza where our hotel is located and its just 100 meters from the main station. Note: You need to arrange car parking in advance as it is really difficult to find car park spaces in teh city center. |

| Things To Do |
Hotel Rex is situated in the heart of Florence city. It is just 150 metres away from famous Duomo & Piazza Santa Maria Novella. We are only 10 minutes away on foot from Uffizi Museum, Ponte Vecchio bridge and Palazzo Pitti. The hotel can arrange a trip for Gucci and Prada on request which is one hour by car from the city center. The hotel is just 2 minutes by walk from the market of San Lorenzo which is very famous for leather goods. You will find a lot of good restaurants around the city center. |
