An early 20th century building has been reclaimed into a modern and daring structure, enhanced by a clean concept of shapes and colors. The Fontana Park Hotel is right in the heart of Lisbon on one of its seven hills close by Saldanha Square; one of the main shopping and business centres in Lisbon. There are several shopping centres and large department stores in this area and a short trip by taxi or by bus or tram ‘to get the city feel’ will take you to the Chiado, Bairro Alto, Alfama and other picturesque and well-known districts of Lisbon. Fontana Park Hotel is close to Lisbon International Airport; conveniently located just 15 minutes drive away. The bathroom includes a hair dryer. Rooms have twin beds that can turn into a 2x2 meter bed, perfectly assimilated to a comfortable double size bed. There are different types of rooms to best suit your needs: Fontana: East oriented with panoramic windows, with a ceiling to floor panoramic window with attractive view to a typical Lisbon patio. Superior: West oriented. There are some available superior rooms that connect with other superior rooms – a perfect solution for families. (ON REQUEST) Premium: West oriented with a terrace and panoramic views to Lisbon and St. George Castle. Located on the top executive floor, has a bathroom with a designer’s illuminated bathtub. Double room with a 2x2 meter King Size bed. We also have accommodation for guests with mobility disabilities. Fontana Park Hotel, Restaurants & Bars A designer’s Hotel with the quality and attention to detail that the Fontana Park has been built with, could not forget the importance of a good kitchen in the premises. Saldanha Mar Restaurant: Specialized in Portuguese and Mediterranean cuisine, it’s the ideal place to enjoy our typical food no matter if you are Portuguese or foreigner. It has de freshest fish and seafood in town as well as the well elaborated chef’s daily suggestions. With direct access from the street, it serves breakfast from 07h00 to 10h00, lunch from 12h30 from 15h00 and dinner from 19h30 to 23h00, 7 days a week. Bonsai Restaurant: Japanese gastronomy in a soothing environment. The best restaurant in Lisbon to enjoy traditional Japanese cuisine and unique Japanese dishes like Yakimono, Tempura, Sushi and Sashimi, in a modern and relaxing environment. Open for dinners from Tuesday to Saturday, from 19h30 to 23h30. Bar & Lounge An exotic décor and atmosphere to try different cocktails, an aperitif before lunch or your favorite drink in a new and chic setting. The Bar & Lounge opens daily from 10:00 to 01:00. By car: From the International Lisbon Airport: Follow city center direction on Av. General Norton de Matos, turn right to Campo Grande, then follow Av. Da Républica until Saldanha Square, go straight ahead on Av. Fontes Pereira de Melo, turn right on the first street and then turn left on the first street until Praça José Fontana. From South: Follow A2 – Lisbon Center Direction, Bridge 25 de Abril, then go to Marquês de Pombal Square / Viaduto Duarte Pacheco direction. On Marquês de Pombal Square Roundabout, follow Fontes Pereira de Melo Avenue direction and turn right to take Tomás Ribeiro Street until José Fontana Square. From North: Follow A1 –Lisbon Center direction, General Norton de Matos Avenue in the city center direction, turn right to Campo Grande, follow República Avenue until Saldanha Square, straight ahead on Fontes Pereira de Melo Avenue, turn right on the first street and then turn left on the first street to take Tomás Ribeiro Street until Praça José Fontana.
