The award winning Country Plaza Motel, an independently owned & operated member of The Sundowner Motor Inns group, offers 22 clean and comfortable rooms that have just been fully refurbished. Winner of Queanbeyan Age's 2005 Business of the Year Awards in the hospitality section! Only a minute into the centre of Queanbeyan and approximately 15 minutes into the centre of Canberra. This is a 4 star high quality property, arguably the best in Queanbeyan. It has a fully licensed restaurant, the Copper Grill Restaurant, which is open weekdays for breakfast and dinner and weekends for breakfast only. All of the rooms have creature comforts such as a data port, an iron/ironing board, a hairdryer, CD player clock radio, DVD/VHS player and FOXTEL in each room. For the convenience of our guests all of our rooms are non-smoking. There is also wireless internet access available for those whoi take their business on the road with them. The property is family owned and operated, and we are there to ensure that you have an enjoyable stay while visiting our region. |

Reception hours are: 7am until 9pm weekdays, 7.30am until 9pm Saturdays and 7.30am until 6pm Sundays. Outside those hours there is a night bell at the reception, and someone will come and assist you. We do appreciate advice of late arrival times. |

| Getting There |
By taxi from either the bus station or train station, or from Canberra International Airport. If driving, follow Canberra Avenue through Canberra towards Queanbeyan. Once you have crossed the border into NSW take the first exit ramp, Norse Road, and follow until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout turn to the left and you will see the Country Plaza Motel on the left-hand side. |
