On the outskirts of Siena, just at the exit Siena Ovest (west side), is located San Marco Hotel. Hotel San Marco offers thermic-proofed and sound-proofed rooms, essential but functional furnishing, for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Either business-people or art-lover tourists are more than welcome. At main entrance you will find a large hall for the reception and TV room while at the side of the reception the breakfast room, where you will enjoy our rich breakfast buffet with breads and pastries made fresh everyday on the premises and a bar that will stay open all day long. All our 28 rooms, two of them organised for people with handicap, are provided with TV-sat, telephone, internet connection, mini-bar, a big safe able to keep P.C., air conditioning, heating and private bathroom with shower and hair-dryer. Even if we don't dispose of the inside restaurant, you will find two restaurants just walk away, while our staff will help you to find some other restaurants specialised in typical tuscan dishes. Our reception staff will also glad to help you in organising together trips on the countryside and tours of artistic interest, easy to find in Siena province. To reach the hystorical centre of Siena, a bus service is available from the hotel every 15 minutes from 7.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. All our 28 rooms, two of them organised for people with handicap, are provided with: · TV-sat, · Telephone · internet connection · mini-bar · a big safe to able to keep P.C. · air conditioning · heating · private bathroom with shower and hair-dryer. |

Here's more information, essential to reach the hotel from any direction: North: Once at Firenze-Certosa A1 exit follow the directions to Siena. Entering Siena’s Tangenziale continue on the main road until Siena Ovest (West) exit. Follow signs to the town center (right). After 200 m, on the right side of the first roundabout is our Hotel. The main entrance to our parking is just before Shell petrol station (right hand side). South: Once at Valdichiana-Bettolle A1 exit follow the directions to Siena and then signs Tangenziale, Firenze and Grosseto (right). Exit at Siena Ovest (West) and follow the signs to the town center (left). After 100 m, on the right side of the first roundabout you find the Hotel. The main entrance to our parking is just before Shell petrol station (right hand side). From city centre, bus station and railway station: you can take the city bus number 3 (runs every 30 minutes until 8.30-9 p.m.) and get off at the "Colonna di San Marco" stop (ask the driver) which is 100 m far from the hotel. Taxi stops are in front of the train station or close to bus station (Piazza Matteotti) or you can phone at 0577-49222 to call one. SATELLITE BROWSER: if, in addition to these information, you also want to use a GPS, be careful because our address-Via Massetana, 70 - is often not recognized. You can try with – Strada Massetana, 70 - but never follow the indication to – Massetana Est - which is located 10 km far from Siena and has nothing to do with the Hotel |
