| Getting There |
By Car from South East Freeway- take Exit 5, from either North or South direction, turn into Cornwall St,(in a westerly direction) and proceed through three sets of lights. Kirkland Avenue is third on the left. From Airport- travel South over Gateway toll bridge, take Old Cleveland Road exit in an Easterly direction, follow all the way through to Coorparoo. Pass Mc Donald's and Kirkland Avenue is fifth on the left. This takes approximately 30 minutes. By Train - take the Cleveland Line and get off at Buranda Station. We are a 10 minute stroll from there. Go past Stones Corner shops and continue along Old Cleveland Road to Kirkland Avenue on the right side. |

Kirkland House is only minutes from the city with access by car, local and express buses and an inner suburban train line. It is close to the famous 'Gabba' (where you can enjoy both Cricket and Australian Rules Football), Royal Brisbane, Mater Hospital, Princess Alexandra and Greenslopes Private Hospitals. It has easy access to the freeway for the north and south coasts. Within a five minute stroll you will find car hire, a heated public swimming pool, Easts Leagues Club and the bustling Stones Corner Shopping precinct that contains factory outlets for clothing and footwear, banks, a library, various restaurants, cafes, eateries and the historic Stones Corner Hotel with its bars, gaming, live entertainment and exciting wining and dining.
