Hilltop Ruapehu is nestled on six private & secluded acres, yet minutes from the cafes and shops of Taumarunui. Hilltop is a great place to unwind - relax & enjoy amongst peace & seclusion. A challenging golf Course is a 5 minute drive. The Whanganui River, a world class fishing river is a 10 minute walk away. Mt Ruapehu ski area is a 40 minute drive. National Park is a 25 minute drive. Locally there are jet boat tours, quad tours and kayaking. For accommodation, we have The Lodge which can sleep 6 persons. The Lodge has 1 Queen Suite with en-suite, 1 Queen Suite and 1 Double. Both the Queen suites has LCD TV and DVD player. The Lodge is luxuriously furnished with quality bedding, towels & robes. Persian rugs and works of art from The Hilltop Collection make for cosy and original surroundings. There is a Spa & Sauna for exclusive use and an external well stocked Library. The Lodge is set in its own grounds with a large terrace offering barbeque facilties. The Cottage is ideal for a couple. It has a Queen room with en-suite facilities. The cottage offers unsurpassed rural views from both the bedroom and living areas; both have French doors leading to a covered terrace with barbeque. Hilltop Ruapehu is not suitable for children 12 years and under. |

The Lodge
sleeps 6, 1 Queen suite en-suite, 1 Queen suite both with LCD tv/dvd and 1 Double. The Lodge is luxuriously furnished: persian rugs and works of art make for a cosy and original atmosphere. There is a Spa & Sauna for exclusive use and an external Library Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $25.00. The room caters for a maximum of 6 adults. The following bedding is provided:

With 1 Queen en-suite, has unsurpassed rural views from both the bedroom & living areas which have french doors leading to a covered veranda. Cosy kiwi bach style. Fully self contained , quality bedding, towels & robes. Barbeque facilities. Rates are for 2 people. The room caters for a maximum of 2 adults. The following bedding is provided:

| Getting There |
From Taumarunui follow Highway 43 "The Forgotten World Highway", past the hospital, Bullians Avenue is first right at the bottom of hospital hill. The entrance to Hilltop is at the end of the avenue. |
| Parking |
The Lodge has one garage and undercover parking for one vehicle. Also parking for several more vehicles. The Cottage has one garage and parking for one other vehicle. |
| Things To Do |
There are walking tracks and picnic areas within the estate. Hilltop is an ideal base for visiting Lake Taupo, Waitomo Caves and The Kiwi House. The Tongariro National Park is 25 mins drive and the Whanganui National Park is 10 minutes drive from Hilltop. Skiing at Mt Ruapehu is about 40 minutes drive. Locally golf, fishing, kayaking, mountain bike riding, jet boat tours, quad tours and some delightful walks and cycle rides are available. The cafes & shops are 15 minutes walk away. |
