Take the M1 out of Melbourne and follow the Princes Highway all the way to Swan Reach. Turn right down Metung Road (just after bridge). Follow into Metung continuing on until just past the Village centre. Coming up on the left next to the Moorings at Metung is 5Knots. The closest Train Station to Metung is at Bairnsdale. It is approximately a 4 hour journey from Melbourne to Bairnsdale. V-Line have a bus service from Bairnsdale to Metung. |

The Director Boat Charters offer scenic cruises every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The iconic Metung Hotel and several other great eateries are all only 100 meters from 5Knots. Golf at the fantastic King Cove is a 5 minute drive from 5Knots. End your day with a refreshing beverage from the Clubhouse lounge. The lime stone Buchan Caves are a 50 minute drive from Metung and are one of the most visited tourist attractions in the area. The newly constructed Boardwalk offers great walks around the Metung Waterways. |
