One of Hawke's Bays most prestigious properties is Mangapapa Petit Hotel. Nestled in the heart of the Hawke’s Bay countryside, this historic hidden treasure boasts 12 Stunning suites, including the opulent Mangapapa Suite. Built in 1885 amidst 50 acres of prolific orchards, Mangapapa Petit Hotel hosts the elegant French styled dining room, offering the finest cuisine using only local fresh produce, Married with an impressive wine list of the regions finest labels and select vintage wines from around France this is the ultimate 'Complete dining experience' Together with pool, spa retreat, gym, sauna, Tennis Court, a three hole golf course and fully equipped conference facilities. This sophisticated homestead offers the ultimate accommodation experience. All 12 rooms at Mangapapa are equipped with: Air conditioning, Sky television, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers,high speed and wireless internet connection, DDI telephones, ensuite facilities, in-room safe, iron and ironing board, luxury robe and slippers. We have 2 Executive Suites in the main house: Macon which has King Size French sleigh bed, semi attached lounge and bath with separate shower. Seefeld which is popular with our honeymooners has a King size four poster bed, separate lounge area and large corner spa bath with separate shower. There are also 2 further Executive Suites in our corporate retreat, Gamay and Syrah. Contemporary style Gamay has a king size bed, a semi attached lounge, spa bath and separate shower. In Syrah, the contemporary style is continued this time with 2 double beds, lounge area, spa bath and separate shower. We have 7 Deluxe Rooms, 3 are located inside the main homestead. Peaceful views of the gardens with its mature trees and manicured flowerbeds make for a happy and tranquil stay. Our further 4 Deluxe Rooms are located 10 meters away from the main homestead. All with Queen Size beds. In Hawkes Bay your days can be filled with a number of exciting activities, so it’s nice to know that when you return to your hotel you can soak up the gorgeous sunshine we are famous for and laze by the poolside with a long cool drink or take a leisurely walk through our 20 acres of apple and peach orchards. Or maybe a hot sauna and spa is just what you need to unwind after a long day of wine tasting or perhaps a luxurious massage for you and your partner in our brand new Esthetic complex after a tough game of golf? Business FacilitiesOur Conference retreat complex includes our two contemporary Executive Suites, Gamay & Syrah, and a private conference room, Green Sahara.With a large Jarrah boardroom table, comfortable plush leather chairs, an abundance of natural light and the privacy away from the main homestead, it makes the ideal conference venue. Within Green Sahara, we can host 16 people in a boardroom style. The following standard conference equipment is available at no extra charge: Whiteboard, Flipchart, Video and Television, Stereo. |

| Getting There |
Mangapapa Petit Hotel is situated between the two cities of Napier and Hastings and only 5 minutes from Hastings and 15 minutes from Napier. Regular domestic flights connect Napier with Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch and we provide Complimentary airport transfers. Bridge Pa Airport which is also 15 minutes away can accommodate private planes and we have our own helicopter pad. We are a three and a half hour drive from Rotorua and driving from Wellington & the South is approximately 4 hours. |

| Things To Do |
Within Hawke's Bay there is an abundance of activities such as the Art Deco Walks in Napier, The National Aquarium of New Zealand and the largest and most accessible mainland gannet colony in the world at Cape Kidnappers. The Bay offers excellent fly-fishing, hunting and trekking and we are able to offer tutors and guides for these activities. Within a short drive of the Hotel there are five challenging golf courses and we have our own 3 hole practice course. Wonderful wineries to visit in Hawkes Bay are in abundance, to tour and sample the products right at the cellar door. Mangapapa is honoured to be the only stockists of Château Waimarama in New Zealand and to be able offer our guests private tours of the winery there and the opportunity to sample the wines straight from the barrel. |
