Just 10 minutes by car to the quaint Hanmer Springs village and 90 minutes north of Christchurch, Braemar Lodge is ideally and centrally located for travel throughout the South Island.

Offering 23 sumptuous open plan suites featuring their own private balcony (Spa Suites have own hot tub), LCD TV and latest AV technology including Ipod docking station, gas fire, Californian Super King bed, Lounge area. The marbled bathrooms have a luxury shower, double spa bath and beautiful granite surrounds.

Take breakfast and dinner at the panoramic Altitude restaurant and experience a fresh local menu and organic produce. Enjoy outdoor alfresco dining whilst taking advantage of our large cellar full of local wines.

Braemar Lodge offers 3 executive conference rooms seating up to 40 people. Hire comes completed with all AV including data projectors, white boards, flip charts, pens and paper. An electronic whiteboard is also available. Local team building solutions are also available to compliment your meeting.

Getting There	From Christchurch: Turn off SH1 onto SH7 to the West Coast. After 1hr turn off onto SH7a to Hanmer Springs. We are the first main road on right after the Bungy Bridge. The lodge is 3kms at end of the gravel road. Transfers to/from the airport are available at at additional cost. From helicopter, private chauffeured limousine, 6 seater luxury charter vehicle or the daily coach service can be arranged. Located 9km from the village of Hanmer Springs, 125km to Christchurch International airport, 130km to Christchurch.

Things To Do	This stunning alpine region offers an extraordinary range of activities. Outdoor pursuits such as hiking, fishing, horseriding and hunting are popular; while the mountains, forests, lakes and rivers are the ideal setting for adventure activities like jet boating, rafting, bungy jumping, mountain biking and quad biking. This is a fantastic year-round destination ? winter and early spring (June?October) bring snow sports, including heli-skiing, at the nearby Hanmer Springs and Mount Lyford ski areas. The immediate area is most famous for the award-winning Hamner Springs Thermal Pools & Spa, one of New Zealand?s most popular attractions. Visitors have enjoyed the healing waters here for over 125 years.
