Welcome to our Qualmark 4 star plus bed and breakfast located in Lakeview Heights of Lake Tekapo. We have 2 king rooms with fantastic views of the Southern Alps and Lake Tekapo and a Twin room with garden views. All rooms have ensuites and are tastefully decorated to compliment the colours of the Mackenzie Country landscape. Guests are invited to join your hosts Pete & Jill in the lounge each evening for pre-dinner drinks. Breakfast is served in a large country style kitchen. We also have Alpine Cottage available for guests who wish to self cater, couples travelling together or families needing more space. Being a Qualmark 5 Star Holiday Home it is rated as being up with the best in New Zealand. This is a Lockwood 3 bedroom house. The master bedroom has an ensuite and then there is a twin room and a 2nd King room with a shared bathroom and separate toilet. The kitchen has all the modern appliances you would expect to find in today's kitchen. The lounge has leather lounge suites and a nice cosy gas fire. A full laundry is included. Alpine Vista and Alpine Cottage are located on Hamilton Drive which is only a 10 minute walk to the Village Centre or to the lake. Lake Tekapo has a lot to offer. The new Alpine Spa complex is a great place to spend a few hours. In the evening you can join Earth and Sky on one of their magical night sky tours. The drive to Mt Cook is only an hour, so allow lots of time to explore our area. |

Alpine Cottage
Alpine Cottage is ideal for families or couples travelling together who wish to have independence and self cater. With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathroooms personal space is assured. There are 2 roll-a-ways available on request suitable for young children. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $25.00. Extra children $25.00. The room caters for a maximum of 6 adults, and a maximum of 4 children but cannot exceed 8 guests in total. Available bedding configurations:

Turn off SH8 directly into Hamilton Drive and then just follow the street around until you see our signs. If you are arriving by public transport, please advise your arrival details and we will pick you up. |

| Things To Do |
Lake Tekapo has lots to offer. In the winter there are 2 local ski fields and an outdoor ice skating rink. The Lake Tekapo Alpine Spa is a great place to soak in the hot pools or have a massage during the cold months as well as in the summer along with our nine hole golf course which is located 5 kilometers from Lake Tekapo. Numerous walking tracks are a great way to explore our surrounds. Take in a spot of fishing or take a day trip up to the Mt Cook National Park. A scenic flight is a must so you can appreciate the vastness of the Southern Alps and absorb the massive size of our Glaciers. |
