The Oriental is situated on the main street of beautiful Bright. It is within 100 meters of the V-line bus stop, shops, cafe's and galleries. It is also just across the road from the start of the historic Rail Trail. With its own on-site award-winning fine dining licensed restaurant "1862" and "Tanswells Wine Bar", you don't have to travel far to find amazing French style cuisine. Featuring a talented local chef who utilises quality local seasonal ingredients. The wine bar is open from 5pm for pre-dinner drinks and is open till late. The restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday from 6pm. The historic building consists of 6 Heritage rooms with Queen/Double beds, genuine and reproduction antique furniture and fittings, private ensuites, tea and coffee making facilities and one with a balcony, these are rated 4 star by AAA tourism. There are 4 units available, 2 of these units contain 2 bedrooms, one with Queen bed and ensuite, second bedroom with a double bed and singe bed, lounge room with TV, fridge, microwave, cutlery and crockery and a second bathroom. 2 of these units contain 2 bedrooms, one with Queen bed, second bedroom with one single and one set of bunk beds which sleep 2. One bathroom off the hallway, lounge with TV, fridge, microwave, cutlery and crockery. These units are rated 3 star by AAA tourism. 3 Motel rooms are also available, one with Queen bed and single, 2 with Queen bed. These motel rooms have a fridge, TV and ensuite.
