The Metropole Hotel, in Lisbon, located on the Rossio, the City mains Square, opened its doors in 1917 and is today often described as the city Boutique Hotel. Completely renovated in 1993, the Almeida family as taken great pains to maintain all of the Metropole's original glorious features and flair of the Golden Twenties, replete with all modern conveniences and Traditional Portuguese antiques. Exceptional views of Lisbon's main square, " The Rossio", the Castle of St. George, The Alfama and Baixa districts.
