Hidden Grove Retreat, just 30 minutes drive southeast of Donnybrook in the beautiful south west of Western Australia, a comfortable 3 hour drive from Perth or 55 minutes from Bunbury. Hidden Grove Retreat comprises luxury one and two bedroom fully self-contained ultra-modern chalets. The chalets opened in May 2008 and overlook a secluded olive grove in a natural Jarrah forest setting. The property backs on to thousands of acres of State Forest ensuring total seclusion. Whilst staying at Hidden Grove Retreat, experience a complete getaway from the stresses of city living and connect with the peaceful surrounds of the bush environment. Explore the bush with short walks on the property and marvel at the wild flowers (spring and early summer) in their natural setting. Sit on the verandah of your Chalet in your own personal hot-tub and watch the kangaroos feeding in the Olive Grove...... the Blue Wrens and Orange breasted Robins flitting below your verandah..... or in the cooler months sit around the wood burning fire and enjoy the warmth of your Chalet and the babbling stream in the valley below. The large verandah is also equipped with an electric barbeque and stylish outdoor furniture. The spacious chalets are furnished and equipped to the highest standards to make that romantic weekend, honeymoon or weekend with friends truly memorable. Breakfast baskets and barbeque platters are available on request. During your stay at Hidden Grove Retreat you may choose to take a half day or day trip around some of the many attractions in the area including Wellington Dam National Park, the wineries of the Preston, Blackwood and Ferguson Valleys or perhaps the fascinating Harvey Dickson Country Music Centre or intriguing 'Gnomesville'. This property is an Adult Retreat and is not suitable for children under 18 years. |
