Snells Beach Motel is perfectly situated on the Mahurangi East Peninsula, overlooking the beautiful Kawau Bay and in the heart of the wonderful Matakana Coast Wine Country area. We are so close to beautiful parks, long sandy beaches and secluded bays ... yours to discover and explore. We have 12 fully self contained one and two bedroom modern apartment motel units, including one with wheelchair access. All units are equipped full kitchens and four with relaxing spabaths. The units are serviced daily and breakfasts is also available. Amenities include wireless internet access, heated swimming pool in subtropical setting, private spa pool, trampoline, guest laundry, guest barbecue, access to tennis courts, Sky TV, ample boat parking. |

From the South: Aproaching Warkworth turn right at second set of lights, then right again following signs to Snells Beach (8km). We are on the cnr of Mahurangi East Rd and Snells Beach Rd. We are so close to beautiful parks, long sandy beaches and secluded bays, all yours to discover and explore. Walk to stores, cafes, restaurants and of course the beach. Visit top vineyards to taste and tour. Enjoy the Kawau Kat Ferry crossing to visit Historic Mansion House, the former residence of our first governor General. It has been beautifully restored and is the focus of a great day, with plenty of time for swims and walks on the island. Other attractions include the Matakana Farmers Market, acclaimed arts and crafts, great golf courses to choose from, brilliant fishing and diving, superb beach and bush walks. Many of our guests remark how varied and interesting our attractions are, and how more plentiful they are, then the more widely known areas in Northland. |
