Homestead Bed and Breakfast has three luxury rooms, two queen rooms and one king single twin. One queen has an ensuite and the second queen and twin share a large bathroom, these rooms can be used as a family room. We have a cot and highchair for the small children, well behaved children are welcome. Each room has reverse-cycle air conditioning, TV with Foxtel, tea & coffee making, two comfy chairs or a sofa, large walkin wardrobe and a desk to work on. We have a lounge, dining room and outside patio area for guests. We are five minutes away from the beach and just up the road are Penguin and Seal Islands, And the swim with the dolphins tour boat. Our local pub/restaurant is the 'Last Drop' a great place to eat and drink and reconable prices. |

Ensuite Queen Room
A lovely large comfortable room, with queen bed and ensuite, with a settee and desk, TV, Foxtel, tea and coffee making, reverse-cycle air conditioning. Plenty of extra blankets, donnas and pillows. Electric blanket on the bed for chilly nights. Rates are for 2 people. The room caters for a maximum of 2 adults. The following bedding is provided:

From the Domestic airport. Come down Brearley Drive to Tonkin Highway, 8kms to Roe Highway, 19kms to Kwinana Freeway South and 28kms to Safety Bay Road turn off and 8 klms straight across all roundabouts until the last roundabout at Safety bay road and Read street/Warnbro sound ave, so across that roundabout, still on Safety Bay road, first road left is Palm drive,Warnbro. International Airport,Down Horrie Miller Drive and left into Tonkin highway 2 klms turn right onto Roe Highway, 19klms to Kwinana Freeway south, and 28 klms straight(safety bay road turn off, 8 klms to Read st / wanbro sound ave, across the roundabout and first road left is Palm drive. Home.. From Perth by train get off at Warnbro station and phone for a pickup, only 3 mins away. From Perth by car, Kwinana Freeway all the way, dont turn until you come to Palm drive, Warnbro.50klms in all. From the South West, come through Mandurah to Safety Bay road, (turning towards the coast) last roundabout is Read st/ Warnbro sound ave, go across and first street left is Palm drive. Rockingham is the start point for the Swim with the dolphins tour (Billy Connelly did this on his world tour of Australia).or you can Dolphin watch if you dont fancy snorkelling. Go across to Penguin and Seal islands, tour on the ferry. dolphins are often in the bay, waiting for the boats so they can surf the wake of the boats.Plenty of Dolphins around the islands. Windsurfing or kite surfing at Safety Bay. Fishing from the beaches includes crabbing. Naragebup enviromental walks around Lake Richmond. Maraparna wildlife park, my favorite place, with kangaroos, emus, alpacas and over a dozen koalas, to stroke or handle, even a couple of crocodiles... We have 14 very nice wineries in the local area, and the wines are as good as the Margaret River wines, we've tried a few. Some of the Best Award winning Beaches in the Metro area, safe for everyone. 5 star Restaurants along Rockingham beach foreshore, spot the Dolphins whilst dining . 20 minutes to Mandurah.Markets during the summer months along the Mandurah foreshore. 30 minutes to Fremantle, the Fremantle markets are open Friday to Sundays & public holidays. Ferries to Rottness Island go from Fremantle. 40 minute drive to the Hills and Serpentine dam. It is only 35 minutes to Perth on the new Train, no parking problems and the train station is right in the heart of Perth shopping centre, no long walks,with bags of shopping.. Myers, David Jones and plenty of Souvenir shops in the mall.Get off at the Esplanade to visit the Bell tower or for the ferries across to South Perth Zoo. The train from Perth also goes to Fremantle, Joondallup and Armadale, so North, south, East and West of Perth. |
