Be assured of professional, attentive hosting in a friendly environment. We have 5 rooms available, 2 with ensuite facilities and the other 3 rooms with share bathroom facilities.

Our home is spacious with a good central heating system for winter months. On those really cold nights we can also fire up our inbuilt wooden firebox in our big lounge.

Hosts Sue and Stuart are New Zealanders who have travelled and have a wide variety of interests. We are of a mixed Maori/English heritage and have a good knowledge of Maori history and culture which we are happy to share with guests who are interested.

In house evening dinning can be arranged. This option is however not always available.

On our large property, there is a tennis court, outdoor summer swimming pool and sauna available. Where we are located, it allows for easy onward travel in all directions. Located on the main west highway, just along from a junction which puts you on the main south/north highway without going through Christchurch central.

If you are interested in receiving personal attention and local advise our place is right for you.

Check In Instructions	Very flexible on these times as long as we have prior notification. Airport arrival /departure times often dictate check in or check out times.
Check Out	1100hrs
Getting There	We are on the Main road leading west out of Christchurch. The Airport is approximately 1 kilometre to the North of our property. It is just offthe North/ South main highway.
Parking	Ample off street parking. Easy turnaround for access on to roadway.
Things To Do	All the attractions of the Christchurch / Canterbury region are accessible from our place. There are many attractions within Christchurch, such as Christchurch Gardens, Arts Centre, Museum, Art Gallery, Christchurch Cathedral, Hagley Park, Port Hills walking trails, Orana Wildlife Park, Casino, Gondola, Air Force Musuem, Ferrymead Heritage Park, International Antartactic Centre, Tramway Experience, Willowbank Wildlife reserve, Maori and cultural experience, Riccarton House and Bush, Punting on the Avon. And thats not all, many sporting events happening at all time depending on the season. Do not forget that Christchurch is the base of the mighty rugby team the Crusuaders. The most successful rugby franchise team in the world- we think. There are also numerous day trips from Christchurch which will take you to places of interest like places such as Akaroa, Hanmer Springs, Mt Hutt ski fields, Kaikoura, day train trip to West Coast and return.
