Here at Isabels on the Hill we offer luxury-themed rooms. Both private ensuites and shared facilities are available. There is also a fully-equipped kitchen and laundry with free local coffee and tea provided. A fully-cooked breakfast is included in the tariff. Indoor/outdoor living areas spill out onto huge verandah with panoramic views of the rural landscape. We are situated in the centre of town right near the top of Hallorans Hill, an extinct volcano. Walk just 200 metres to the lookout and environmental park and take a rainforest walk entering the old crater. A natural retreat for nature/wildlife lovers, birdwatchers, photographers, bushwalkers and artists. Ideally situated only minutes away from all the tourist attractions, we are just over an hour away from Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef. Visit the pristine Crater lakes, Lake Barrine and Eacham, the historic village or Yungaburra with its platypus viewing and famous Curtain Fig Tree. Visit local wineries, cheese and chocolate factories, coffee and tea plantations and the famous waterfall circuit and huge trees. |

| Getting There |
- Travel north from Cairns Airport on the Cook Highway towards Mossman. Turn at Smithfield and follow the Kenney Highway to Mareeba via Kuranda. From Airport to Mareeba is 49km. - Turn left (south) at Mareeba and continue on the Kennedy Highway for about 32km to Atherton. - Drive straight ahead into Atherton which will be the main street. Turn left at McDonald’s and follow the large sign to Hallorans Hill Lookout and Ravenshoe. - Follow Robert Street and turn left after six streets at the Hallorans Hill Caravan Park, following signs to the Lookout as you drive. - Our property is near the top of the lookout on LH side. This should take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. |
