Be amongst the first to experience Crowne Plaza Newcastle on the foreshore of Australia's newest harbour playground opening March 2003. The closest international airport to the hotel is the Sydney International Airport, Mascot, which has domestic transfer flights to either Newcastle Airport (Williamtown) with Qantas or Belmont Airport with Aeropelican. Directions by car from: Sydney International Airport, Mascot - Take the F3 Highway following the North Coast/Newcastle signs. Take the Wallsend Exit off the F3 and follow the signs to the city centre. Turn left at Union Street, right at Hunter Street, then left into Merewether Street. Approximate distance and time to the hotel is 160km and two hours. Newcastle Airport (Willamtown) - Drive south along Nelson Bay Road following the signs to Newcastle, crossing over Stockton Bridge into Teal Street. Turn right into Cormorant Road and left into Tourle Street. Next turn left again into Industrial Drive. Follow this road and signs to Newcastle city centre, turn left into Hunter Street and left again into Merewether Street. Approximate distance and time to the hotel is 30km and 20 minutes.
