Our Atherton Tableland accommodation features two fully self contained cottages tucked away at the end of a country road in Kairi just over an hours self-drive from the Cairns Airport, minutes from Lake Tinaroo Dam, only a short drive from the Yungaburra, and close to the Atherton Tablelands main township, Atherton, on the Atherton Tableland, Cairns Highlands, Tropical Far North Queensland, Australia. Lake Tinaroo Dam is known for Water Sports, Wake Boarding, Skiing, and Barramundi Fishing, and the Historical village of Yungaburra is famous for its Restaurants and Markets. Our self contained cottages are perfect for your wedding honeymoon, romantic getaway, or family holiday. Wake up to birdsong and the smell of fresh country air, see the Kangaroos playing and the cattle grazing, drop a line in the private dam - catch a Sooty Grunter or two. Soak in the double spa or spoil yourself by indulging in a traditional Hawaiian Temple Style Massage in the privacy of your own cottage. Your Tariff includes complimentary Chocolates and Fresh Local Ground Coffee on arrival, and a Sumptuous Continental Breakfast Hamper Daily. Both cottages are nestled alongside Native Bush land where the resident Barking Owls reside. Centrally located on the edge of the Atherton Tableland Golden Triangle, outside the highland drizzle, just over an hours drive from the Cairns Airport. We are privileged to be just minutes away from Wineries, Coffee Plantations, Wildlife viewing, and many more local Tours and Attractions, and not to mention a Cheese and Chocolate Factory. We also have a large variety of beautiful Australian Native Birds and Wildlife at our doorstep. |

The room caters for a maximum of 4 adults, and a maximum of 3 children but cannot exceed 4 guests in total. The following bedding is provided:

| Getting There |
As we are central on the Tablelands, choose either Range via Gordonvale or via Kuranda. Follow the maps to Kairi Atherton Tablelands. Our propery is located at 409 Hough Road, Kairi. Coming from Kuranda, head towards Kairi on Tolga-Kairi Road, then turn left onto Hough Road, 500mts prior to Stockman's Hall of Hay. Coming from Gordonvale, head towards Tolga, turn left onto Tolga-Kairi Road and then turn right onto Hough Road about 500mts past Stockman's Hall of Hay Follow Hough Road about 4km to the very end. We are the last property. |

Just relax and take in the views, native wildlife, and farm animals from your private back deck, soak in the double Spa, take a stroll on the property, or drop a line in the property Dam and catch a Sooty Grunter (Black Bream). Get your picture on our Black Bream Brags page! Fishing equipment is supplied or you are welcome to bring your own. Don't fish, then enjoy a hamper on the Jetty, capture the beauty of our property by photography, (we will upload your birds photos on our Birdwatching web page) or enjoy a wine whilst listening to birdsong and watching the sunset. Take a scenic tour of the Atherton Tableland or visit the Famous Yungaburra Village Markets. For the energetic, try out some Lake Tinaroo Dam Wake Boarding, Skiing or Barra Fishing. After a busy day of indulging in the Tablelands offerings, enjoy one of our sumptuous BBQ Hampers on your back deck or dine in one of the Tablelands many nearby A-La-Carte Restaurants. Then finish the night with our Wine and Cheese Delight while listening to the peaceful call of the Barking Owl.
