Pleasant family style motel located on the waterfront that provides the best beach in Paihia for swimming and water activities. The motel is also located within easy walking distance into village, shops and restaurants. We have 9 self contained spacious studio units and 1 large family unit. All units are equipped with kitchen facilities, ensuite, SKY TV, telephone and rooms are serviced daily. The studio units can sleep up to a maximum of 3 persons and has a queen and a single bed. The family room can accommodate up to 4 persons and has a Queen and 2 singles. The units facing north (for all-day sun) have extensive views of the harbour and islands. We are truly at an excellent location to base your holiday from, for all the many and varied attractions of Northland. We look forward to welcoming you to Bay Sands Motel. |

| Getting There |
Coming into Paihia from east or west follow beach front. Coming from the east, drive through village area, around bluff 150 metres look for sign. From west, follow beach front, look for Shell garage and small way past our sign. |
| Parking |
Each studio has secure carspace all off road. A few units has under cover parking and a few has carspace outside studio front door. Large vechiles can be accommodated at rear as can trailers and small boats. |

All things beach, boating, fishing, walking and golf. Great sightseeing adventures, excursions, local shopping, culture trips. Family and fine dining restaurants available in the village. |
