| Getting There |
Coming from Brisbane take the left exit to Byron Bay; after about 7kms. you will come to the Hospital and the police station, both on your right. Turn left at the roundabout opposite the police station and go over the railway line. You will immediately come to the 'mosaic' Jonson Street roundabout, go right, down to the 'Mitre 10' store where the road doglegs to the left. You almost immediately come to another roundabout (the Green Garage is on the opposite corner), turn right there into Bangalow Road (which eventually evolves into Broken Head Road), we are 2.8 kilometres out on that road. First landmark to look for is the caravan park,'Beaches @ Byron'. It has a fence consisting of alternating panels of timber, and olive green corrogated iron. We are the next driveway on the left (only about 50 metres past the caravan park entry). Keep an eye out for our 'Rainforest Resort' sign on either side of the asphalt driveway. If you are using a 'satnav' or equivalent, make you only accept '39 Broken Head Road BYRON BAY". NOT 39 Broken Head Road Newrybar, OR 39 Broken Head Road Broken Head...NOT US! If you come to the entry of the Golf Club (on your right)...you have gone too far. Coming from the South; leave Ballina on the coast road to Lennox Head, then to Suffolk Park, then on to Byron Bay. We are 1 kilometres from the Suffolk Park Hotel. Go through two roundabouts. The entrance to the Golf Course is on the left, we are on the opposite side about 50 metres past the Golf Club entry. Keep an eye out for our 'Rainforest Resort' sign on either side of the asphalt driveway, (and drive down into the main carpark area), you can't miss it. |

| Things To Do |
The Byron Bay market is a big attraction on the first Sunday of the month, with a market on every Sunday somewhere in the Shire, the Farmers Market is also popular every Thursday morning. From the Resort you can walk to the beach or head off to enjoy Byron Bay and beyond. Diving, snorkelling, hang gliding, hot air ballooning, learning to surf, horse riding on the beach, kayaking with the dolphins, walking to the lighthouse are some of the many activities to enjoy in Byron. Then of course there are the many restaurants, clubs and hotels to just relax in. |
