We are a quality 3½ star motel with a value for money tariff. Set in lovely gardens in a quiet location, Our 15 clean and comfortable units are fully equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Only three minutes by car from the Bray raceway and the Flying Horse Bistro and Cabaret for excellent well priced dining. Only five minutes from Sovereign Hill and the beautiful city center of Ballarat. Set in large grounds with plenty of parking for boats and trailers, with a pristine, fully tiled solar heated swimming pool and a large gas heated outdoor spa, which is enclosed behind high fences for privacy and security. Free gas BBQ provided upon request and undercover seating and tables. We are a non smoking motel. |

| Getting There |
If driving from Melbourne or Adelaide on the Western freeway enter on the 3rd exit (the A300) Midland Highway. Travel south through the city down to the B160 road to Hamilton. Turn right at this roundabout, we are 2 kilometres along on this road on the right hand side in a service lane. Coming in from West Victoria we are on the road from Hamilton about 1 kilometre from the first roundabout on the left. From Geelong, turn left at the B160 raod to Hamilton and we are 2 kilometres from there on the right. We have a bus stop in front of the Motel taking you to the city. We phone a taxi at your request. |

| Things To Do |
Ballarat provides a wide variety of attractions. A visit to Sovereign Hill is a must, allow plenty of time to see this wonderful living museum, set in the 1850's recreating the exciting gold rush period. Check out the beautiful Victorian architecture that was built in the 1860's when Ballarat was the richest city in the world. Visit the Eureka Stockade, the lovely Ballarat Wildlife Park and Bird Sanctuary and Kryal Castle just to mention a few. Take in a light and sound show at night showing the Blood on the Southern Cross, the story of the Eureka rebellion. Ballarat also hosts the Australian Cycling championships, the popular Begonia festival, a HUGE swapmeet and the largest country Antique Fair in Australia. It is ideally based for touring the old goldmining towns scattered around and as a stop off to go to the AFL footy games just leave your car and parking worries at the Motel and take a bus to the ground and back to The Peppinella. We will drop off and pick you up from the bus depo. |
