We have 32 cabins, eight are doubles, which are suitable for a couple. 22 family which are suitable for a family of six. 2 disabled friendly cabins.You can eat in or eat out. For convenience our cabins are well equipped to be able to cook your own meals.
There are 14 powered sites and plenty of camping spaces. For camping it is first in best dressed as there are no markings per site.

We have a covered BBQ area, camp kitchen, laundry on site and a childrens playground.

This park is 3 stars.

The park is just a short stroll from the town centre of Strahan.

There are a number of things to do in Strahan, including the famous Wilderness Railway, the magical Gordon River Cruise. There are also scenic flights by helicopters and sea planes.
Ocean beach is 11 kilometres away and is 40 kilometres long.
Mutton bird nest in the dunes from October through April.
From Macquarie Heads you can try your luck at some fishing.
Henty Dunes has great sandboarding for the children.

Getting There If you are coming from Queenstown as you come into Strahan turn right at the IGA Supermarket, drive down to the roundabout turn left. Look for our new big Blue sign DISCOVERY PARKS, we are on the next left hand corner on the right hand side turn right past the Police Station, you have arrived.

Coming from Zeehan through the roundabout, heading straight ahead, next left hand corner on the right hand side turn up the lane past the Police Station & you have arrived.
Parking Car parking is along side your accommodation.
Things To Do Strahan Woodworks. It has a gallery and a working timber centre utilising Tasmanias specialist timbers.
Risby Cove Gallery has an exhibition of arts and crafts.
The Ship that Never Was is the longest running play in Tasmania. It is a reactment of the areas history.
Scenic Flights. Helicopter and small plane flights are available.
Set sail from Macquarie Harbour to the Gordon River or Sarah Island.
West Coast Wilderness Railway. A unique rack and pinion steam train departs Strahan daily through a rainforest wilderness across 40 restored bridges.
Henty Sand Dunes where sandboard, toboggan or hire a 4 wheeler bike for some fun. Children love it.
