| Getting There |
By public transport: Arriving at the airport the underground lines S1 and S8 depart from the train station which is located beneath the main terminal. After approximately 40 minutes you reach the stop Marienplatz, take the exit Dienerstrasse, walk down Dienerstrasse up to Maximilianstrasse and turn right. The Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Munich is on the left hand side. It is only a short walk of about 5 minutes from Marienplatz to the hotel. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the airport to the hotel, which takes about 45 minutes and costs about EUR 65. Arriving at the main train station: Depart from the underground train station which is located beneath the main train station. A 3-minute train ride with any line (direction Marienplatz) takes you to Marienplatz. Take the exit Dienerstrasse, walk down Dienerstrasse up to Maximilianstrasse and turn right. The Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski in on the left hand side. It is only a short walk of about 5 minutes from Marienplatz to the hotel. It is also possible to take the tram number 19, direction St.-Veit-Straße, stop Kammerspiele. Walk back approximately 150 metres. You will see the hotel on the right hand side. By car: A9 - Nürnberg: At the end of the Autobahn follow the sign Mittlerer Ring Ost, drive through two tunnels and turn right at Tucher Park onto Ifflandstrasse. Follow this road all the way to the crossing with Maximilianstrasse. Turn right, the hotel will come up on your right hand side. A8 - Salzburg: At junction München Süd follow the signs München-Ramersdorf. At the end of the Autobahn drive towards Stadtmitte (city centre). You will be directed onto Rosenheimer Strasse which you follow until Isartor. Here, turn right onto Altstadtring. After 500 meters turn left into Maximilianstrasse. The hotel will come up on your right hand side. A 95 - Garmisch: Take the Autobahn to the end, then onto Mittlerer Ring direction Stadtmitte (city centre). Take the exit Pasing, turn right into Landsberger Strasse, then left into Schwanthaler Strasse and drive straight through to Sonnenstrasse. Turn left and follow the Altstadtring until Maximilianstrasse. Turn right. You will see the hotel on your right hand side. A96 - Lindau: Take the Autobahn to the end, then onto Mittlerer Ring direction Stadtmitte (city centre). Take the exit Pasing, turn right into Landsberger Strasse, then left into Schwanthaler Strasse and drive straight through to Sonnenstrasse. Turn left and follow the Altstadtring until Maximilianstrasse. Turn right. You will see the hotel on your right hand side. A8 - Augsburg / Stuttgart: Take the Autobahn to the end and follow the signs Stadtmitte (city centre). Drive straight on for about 20 minutes. (Verdistrasse - Amalienstrasse - Menzingerstrasse - Notburgastrasse - Arnulfstrasse). At Sonnenstrasse turn left and follow the Altstadtring until Maximilianstrasse. Turn right.
