As the mother temple, Besakih is the site of Bali's largest and most elaborate purification ritual - Eka Dasa Rudra - held once a century. The compound is a microcosm of the Hindu Bali universe with realms for the gods, man, and the impure spirits. The houses in Bali are the pavilions for ceremonies, sleeping, and day -to-day activities. CELUK village: a centre for the manufacture of jewelry in Bali, most of the local people in here specialize in gold and silver jewelry.
