If driving from Cairns, to the Innisfail Riverlodge Tropical Motel, drive South out of Innisfail. Drive past the Riverside van park which is on your left side. DONT take the big Townsville turnoff. But drive straight along River Avenue for about 750 metres, drive under the overpass , look to your right as soon as you under the overpass, you will see "THE RIVERLODGE TROPICAL MOTEL INNISFAIL, exactly on the right hand side. TO FIND THE INNISFAIL RIVERLODGE TROPICAL MOTEL, driving from THE SOUTH,ie from Townsville drive over the Centenary bridge, drive along the sweeping bend on highway when you get to the T-intersection at the highschool "TURN RIGHT". Following the signs to South Johnstone and Paronella Park, drive along River Avenue for about 750 metres, the road has many potholes and a rough surface but I can guarentee you it is river avenue and a real road, go under the overpass, YOU WILL SEE INNISFAIL'S RIVERLODGE TROPICAL MOTEL, on the right hand side.
