Southtown is a 13 unit family owned and operated motel 1.7km south of the Bega town centre. We offer 3½ star comfort at competitive prices making it the perfect place to stop, relax and enjoy the area. Units are large and comfortable catering for couples, families and groups. Delicious home-cooked breakfast and dinner can be served to your room. Our units are equipped with a television, video (free videos are available at reception), refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities and an ensuite with hairdryer. A saltwater pool, outdoor spa and BBQ area are available for your use. |

From the North - turn right at the first set of traffic lights (Auckland St). Follow Auckland Street to the T insersection and turn right on to the Princes Highway. Look for Southtown a short distance along on the left-hand side. From the South - over the first hill after the 60km zone and look for us on the right-hand side next to the caravan park. |

-Visit the Bega Cheese Factory and Heritage Centre. -Browse local art and craft galleries. -Visit the Museum which contains an extensive display of pioneer life in the Bega Valley. -Take a short drive to Tathra to soak up the sun on the beach or enjoy some great fishing off the old steamer wharf. -Just relax and enjoy the Bega valley or drive through picturesque countryside and visit the towns of Candelo, or the working craft village of Cobargo. -Play some golf at the beautiful Bega RSL Golf Club's 18 hole course. Paddle a canoe in the wilderness of Wadbilliga National Park, or just relax in the heated spa and salt-water pool at the Southtown Motor. Inn! |
