Durham Lodge is a 4.5 star property, that has been purpose-built to provide relaxing, private and very efficient, bed and breakfast accommodation. Three room styles, king or queen size beds, deluxe twin spa (see notes below) or spacious shower, reverse cycle airconditioning, remote control television, dvd player (with complimentary movies), direct dial STD/ISD telephones (with modem port), tea coffee facilities and bar fridge - all the amenities you would expect with your own private guest wing and separate entrance. Wireless Broadband internet access The elegant guest house is cosy, inviting and well appointed. Comfy chairs huddle around the fireplace ready for cold winter nights. There is a large bookcase filled with famous fiction for the avid reader plus facts and information for the knowledge-hungry traveller. Durham Lodge is conveniently located in Victoria Park, just a short drive from the Perth city centre. Buses to the city are close by. The train is a few minutes walk away. On nearby Albany Highway, you’ll find international restaurants, cafés and shops. Many of Perth’s major attractions are close by. The Perth Zoo, Burswood Casino, the Swan River, Kings Park and the city’s new Bell Tower are all within a five minute drive. It takes less than 15 minutes to reach the domestic and international airports. Secure lock up parking is provided for your vehicle. Durham Lodge is the perfect base for day tours to the Pinnacles, Swan Valley vineyards, historic Fremantle, northern beaches, Rockingham Dolphins and many other wonderful destinations. Abundant tourist information is always available from your hosts Sonja and Michael. We look forward to welcoming you to Perth and helping make your stay an enjoyable one. All rooms are strictly "Non Smoking". B & B tariff includes one spa per nights stay. Additional use at $10.00 per spa. This is to comply with current water restrictions in Western Australia. From Domestic and International Airports - Durham Lodge A taxi will cost approx $18 - $28 and will take approx 15 minutes depending upon traffic conditions. Durham Lodge is between Axon and Gresham St on the south side of Shepperton Rd. |

Durham Lodge is conveniently located 5 minutes from the Perth city centre and has excellent bus and train services within easy walking distance. The city centre has many attractions such as theatres, museums, art galleries and tourist attractions. The Barrack St Jetty is within walking distance from the heart of the city providing ferry services to the Perth Zoo, Fremantle and Rottnest Island. Cruises up river to the Swan Valley and scenic coffee cruises are all available here. |
