| Getting There |
From Naples by Train: An hour rail journey from the circumvesuviana station " Napoli Piazza Garibaldi ". Catch the train you find on the lower floorof the station, check for the line " Napoli - Sorrento ". Sorrento is the last stop. Once you are out of the station, go down until the square facing you "Piazza Lauro" and turn right on to Corso Italia. Straight on 700mt you'll find the hotel on your left, follow the numbers until the 258 Hotel Gardenia. From Naples Airport: If you are landing in Naples at Capodichino airport, the easiest and most comfortable way to reach Sorrento is the " Curreri " bus line stopping just outside the arrival hall. The bus leaves you in Lauro Square, ask for a taxi or walk up on the Corso Italia for 600 meters. By Car: Any direction you are coming from follow the A3 Napoli-Salerno motorway. Look for the sign Penisola Sorrentina as far as Castellammare di Stabia exit. After that drive along the SS145 to Sorrento. Drive past the town Meta, Piano di Sorrento and S. Agnello as far as Sorrento By Boat: From Sorrento harbour, catch the Circumvesuviana line C "Orange bus" direction S.Agnello, the stop is only 50 meters far from our hotel. |

The hotel has onsite private off-street, secure and under cover car park with a daily surcharge. The access is controlled by a videocamera, and a personal card is provided to enter the parking. |

Pompei and Vesuvius are within short distance. A magnificent road, every bend of which discloses unbelievably beautiful views, leads from Sorrento to Positano and Amalfi. The visitor who has made Sorrento his headquarters can map out a programme alternating excursion on the hillside and along the beautiful Sorrento coast, and can visit Pompei and Vesuvius. |
