Relax and enjoy the unique experience of staying on a rural property with panoramic views down the valley to the ocean, only 2 minutes from the historic village of Alstonville and only 10 minutes to Ballina. Close by are the beaches that stretch from Evans Head via Lennox Head to Byron Bay. Immediately as you come down the driveway, you will have a sense of space and tranquillity as the view spreads out in front of you. This is your own escape from the pressures of life. The 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom cottages are situated on terraces full of native plants and flowers and fruit trees. They are fully self-contained with large private verandahs and extensive views of the rainforest, pasture and the Pacific Ocean. Sit and watch the horses and cows graze, listen to the birds sing or watch the wedge-tailed eagles glide on the currents over the valley. And at dusk you might see wallabies silently grazing closeby. At The Barn/reception area, there is an 11 meter swimming pool with shade and chairs for relaxing, laundry with books and games for you to borrow and a covered communal BBQ/entertainment area, ideal for small groups. |

| Getting There |
Directions: If you are coming from the north you can turn off the Pacific Highway before reaching Ballina, onto Teven-Tintenbar Rd, signposted to Alstonville, on the right of the highway. (Its the the junction after the turn off to Lennox). Follow the signs to Alstonville and at the junction of the Bruxner Highway and Teven Rd. turn left towards Ballina. Alstonville Cemetery Rd turnoff is just past the speed camera on the right hand side, just before the 100km sign. OR keep on the Pacific Highway and drive south through Ballina and then turn up the Bruxner Highway on your right, signposted to Lismore and Alstonville. Alstonville Cemetery Rd turnoff is on the left 5km up the Bruxner Highway, just before the 60km sign. If you are coming from the south, turn left onto the Bruxner Highway, signposted to Lismore and Alstonville, just on the southern side of Ballina. Alstonville Cemetery Rd is on the left, 5km up the Bruxner Highway, just before the 60km signpost. |
