Express by Holiday Inn London Stratford is situated in the heart of East London, site of the 2012 LONDON OLYMPICS. Stratford Regional and International Station with the Eurostar Rail Link is due to be opened in 2009. Stratford has excellent connections, making it easy to get to Express by Holiday Inn London Stratford. The hotel is 3 miles from A13 with its excellent links to A406 North Circular Road, A127, M25 & M11. Proximity of London City Airport via Docklands Light Railway and Stansted Airport via National Express Coach makes Express by Holiday Inn London Stratford an ideal base for business or pleasure. Complimentary Continental Breakfast is served every morning in our Great Room. Evening meals are served every evening 18:00 – 22:00 . In preparation for the London 2012 Olympics, we are pleased to announce that the hotel is undergoing an extension of a further 39 bedrooms and 6 new meeting rooms. Car parking is unavailable during this period. Construction will begin on 26th October and is due for completion middle of May 2010. |

On exiting from station, bear right and walk out towards High Street. Bear right and continue walking down High Street going past ‘Duncan House – University of East London’ . Hotel is located in the corner of Carpenters Road. Central Line, Jubilee Line, Docklands Light Rail, Silverlink trains and ONE trains all stop at Stratford Station. From London City Airport. Take Docklands Light Rail (DLR) train to Canning Town (3rd Stop). At this station change to the Jubilee Line to Stratford Station (2nd Stop). Journey Time 17 minutes. Taxi Fee: approx. £ 10.00 one way. From Stansted Airport. From coach park take the National Express Coach (number A6/A7) travelling to Stratford. Coach stops at Stratford Station. Approximate Journey Time 30 minutes. Cost £7/£8 for one way or £12/£13 for two way. Tickets can be purchased from Ticket office or pay on coach. Taxi Fare: approx. £25.00 one way From Heathrow Airport (Terminals 1,2 & 3). From Heathrow Terminals 1,2 &3 take the Heathrow Connect train towards Paddington Station and stop at Ealing Broadway. From this station take the Central Line towards Hainault and stop at Stratford Station. Approximate transfer time – 60 minutes. From Gatwick Airport take the Thameslink Rail towards Bedford and stop at London Bridge Station. From this station take the Jubilee Line towards Stratford. Average Journey time 60 minutes. Driving Instructions: From outside M25, on approach to M25, follow signs for Stansted Airport until J28. Join the A12 at J28 bound for Blackwall Tunnel. Turn into Stratford A118. On taking the slip road off the A12, at the roundabout take first exit left onto High Street A118. Hotel is approximately 1 mile on the left at the Junction of Carpenters Road. From M11 or A406 North East, take A12 – Central London. From M2 (A2)/M20(A20) take Blackwall Tunnel to A12 then A11 (Direction Stratford A118). At Bow Interchange take first exit left onto High Street A118. Hotel is approximately 1 mile on the left at the Junction of Carpenters Road. From London City Airport: Start out going east on Aaron hill road, turn onto County road. Enter next roundabout and take 1st exit onto Alpine Way. Turn right onto Woolwich Manor Way/A117 and turn slight left onto ramp to merge with A13. Turn slight right onto ramp to merge onto Blackwall Tunnel Northern Approach/A12. Turn slight left onto Bow Interchange and enter next roundabout and take 3rd exit onto High Street A118. Travelling time approx. 11 minutes. |
