The Grand Hotel Palazzo Carpegna is a 4 star hotel located at 3 Km from the Vatican City, St. Peter's Basilica and Rome city centre. The hotel is housed in a wonderful historical building surrounded by luxuriant gardens, within the charming setting of Villa Carpegna park. Recently completely renovated, the Grand Hotel Palazzo Carpegna offers 200 rooms including Classic, Superior and Junior Suite. All the rooms are comfortable and carefully furnished. The hotel provides two restaurants, “Le Bistrot” and the Ballroom “Il Colonnato”, which offer excellent traditional Italian cuisine and an interesting selection of d.o.c. wines. The Bar “Il Chiostro” offers snacks and drinks that can also be served in the patio garden during the summer period. The Piano Bar provides live entertainment every night. The extensive conference and banqueting facilities, large public areas, beautiful Cloister and imposing three-aisle Church complete the romantic atmosphere of a hotel that is definitely out of the ordinary. |

For those arriving in Rome by plain: For arrivals to Fiumicino Airport (FCO) Distance 25 km You can reach the Grand Hotel Palazzo Carpegna: - by taxi (€40,00/50,00) - by train via the Leonardo Express (€ 15,00 approx). Trains to Termini railway station leave every 30 minutes. From there you can reach the hotel either by taxi (€ 20,00) or by underground (Line A - direction “Battistini” – Cornelia stop) For arrivals to Ciampino Airport (CIA) Distance 40 km You can reach the Grand Hotel Palazzo Carpegna: - by taxi (€ 60,00) - by bus to Ciampino train station and then by train to Termini railway station (trains leave every 15 minutes).
