Getting There Quality Hotel Platinum International is situated at the gateway to the Golden West at 326 James Street, Toowoomba. It is situated at the western end of James Street (Warrego Highway), opposite Clifford Gardens Shopping Centre.

If travelling from Brisbane - follow the highway signs to Oakey, Dalby and Roma and you will find us right at the far end of James Street on the left.

If travelling from the west - follow the highway signs to Brisbane and you will find us on the right after you cross over Anzac Avenue. Coming from this direction you will need to go past the motor inn and safely do a u-turn after the lights for Clifford Gardens Shopping Centre.

If travelling from the north - travel to the centre of Toowoomba along Ruthven Street, turn right at James Street, then follow the highway signs to Oakey, Dalby and Roma.

If travelling from the south - take the Anzac Avenue route into Toowoomba, turn right at the James Street intersection. Coming from this direction you will need to go past the motor inn and safely do a u-turn after the lights for Clifford Gardens Shopping Centre.

Things To Do Toowoomba is famous as the floral capital of Australia with the Carnival of Flowers held each spring in the city. Visitors are treated to a vista of colour each spring and can view private gardens and city parks during the carnival. Some of the parks are Picnic Point, Laurel Bank Park and Queens Park.

Other places of interest for the visitor are the art galleries, USQ Arts Gallery and Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery, the Empire Theatre, where live shows and concerts are held regularly and the Cob and Co Museum. Within close proximity and a few short drives there are a number of National Parks - Bunya Mountains National Park, Crows Nest National Park, Ravensbourne National Park and a little further away is the famous Queen Mary Falls National Park and the Girraween National Park. Also, just a short drive from Toowoomba is the Jondaryan Woolshed. Other places of interest are the University of Southern Queensland and the Toowoomba Showgrounds.
