Housed in a neoclassical building originally designed by the German architect Enrst Ziller in 1898, the establishment has been subjected to a complete renovation, in which the architectonic philosophy of that era is still reflected in the high ceilings and wooden floors still tinted with original paintings - this, combined with sophisticated and modern provisions for your maximum comfort. With such attention to detail it is no wonder that the hotel was 'Romantic Hotel' finalist at the 2008 World Luxury Hotel Awards. The Magna offers a restricted number of rooms, only ten, with the desire of pleasing its guests with attentive and personal service, as well as warm hospitality. Its installations are completed by a roof terrace with an intimate restaurant-bar and marvellous views. Here you can enjoy breakfast and other meals. Also on premise is a perfectly equipped business centre. Its excellent location in the centre, only five minutes from Syntagma Square, allows Magna Grecia guests the privilege of enjoying marvellous views of the world renowned Acropolis. 200 metres from the underground station and a bus line, which provide easy access to all the most interesting places in the city. Plaka is Athens’ oldest district and is characterised by its monuments; various small churches, the first university of Greece and the romantic market are part of the cultural mosaic of this city.
