Jenny & Barry welcome you to our home and we will ensure that you have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Richmond is a 15 minute drive south of Nelson city on State Highway 6 and only 10 minutes from the airport. The Abel Tasman National Park is only a 50 minute drive. Many travellers find Idesia B& B a convenient stay on the way to or from the Picton Ferry. On arrival you are invited to relax in our pleasant sunny patio area and enjoy tea or coffee along with Barry’s freshly baked cookies. In addition, you also have access to tea/coffee making and cookies in you room. You will savour breakfast, served in our dining room with views across to Tasman Bay. Fresh seasonal fruits, acclaimed home made muesli and your choice of continental or a full satisfying cooked selection is offered. |

Directions from Picton/Nelson Follow the road signs to Richmond entering on Salisbury Road, then straight through traffic lights to the Queen Street roundabout. (BP service station ahead) Turn left into Queen Street. Directions from Murchison and south on SH6 From the Richmond Information Centre on the left take the 3rd right into Oxford Street. (Traffic lights are being installed here) Follow Oxford Street straight through the 1st roundabout and travel around to the left to the roundabout at Queen Street intersection (BP service station on left). Turn right into Queen Street. Directions from Queen Street roundabout with the BP service station Follow Queen Street towards the hills and turn 2nd right into Hunter Avenue. Idesia Grove is the 1st on the left. Follow Idesia Grove around to the right and Idesia B&B (No 14) will be directly ahead. |
