| Getting There |
All transfer companies will drop off at the door as the Glenorchy Lakehouse is very central. By car from Queenstown, drive 44 km to Glenorchy. Turn left at the T junction on arrival in Glenorchy (this is Mull St). The property is on the lakefront on the RHS and is well signed. |

Glenorchy is a haven of magical scenery, and the centre for some of New Zealands best walking, fishing and general sightseeing. Walks - 19 different day walks close by including the 10th top classic hike in the world - The Routeburn. Fish from the shores of Wakatipu, on a fishing kayak or boat charter, or on the rivers including the renowned Greenstone river. (Fishing gear and licences available in the office). Kayak trips available throughout the day. Jetboat trips morning and afternoon. Horse treks 4WD tours Canyoning Skydiving Scenic flights to Milford and surrounding areas by helicopter and fixed wing. |
