Carneval Ocean View which affords magnificent panoramic vistas of Doubtless Bay is just a short stroll to the safe swimming beach of Cable Bay, where guests enjoy lazing in the sun, swimming or fishing. Your hosts Martha and Roly speak Swiss-German and French. A Mediterranean Design Carneval is a European-style accommodation comprising of two king-size en-suite bedrooms with Finnish Tulikivi wall heating and a Tulikivi fire warms the lounge in winter. Enjoy Swiss chef Roly’s Swiss-style Birchermuesli and cooked breakfasts in the dining room or alfresco on the terrace. Bus tours to Cape Reinga, diving or fishing trips can be arranged. |

From the turn-off to Mangonui, follow SH 10 to Coopers beach. Continue to Cable Bay. Cross small bridge & opposite the rest area turn left up driveway 200m to top of hill. Driveway before the Dairy with the big Ice cream on the roof. (300m after Cable Bay sign.) |
