The Castleton Hotel is your home in London town with 37 cosy rooms and suites. Built as a private home in 1840 we still try to retain that intimate atmosphere. Hotel has 37 En-Suite bedrooms. We are very closely located to Paddington and Lancastergate station. closest to the Hyde park and Oxford street. We are located in a quiet street in London's Paddington/Lancaster Gate so that after a good night's sleep and a cooked English breakfast you will be ready to walk in nearby Hyde Park or go shopping. |

By Underground: Travel to Paddington Station by Circle (yellow) Line, District (green) Line, Hammersmith & City (pink) Line & Bakerloo (brown) Line. Exit in Praed Street and walk straight across in to London Street. At the end of London Street, before set of traffic lights on your left the hotel is. By Rail: Almost all main rail termini are on the Circle (yellow) Line. From these take the Circle Line to Paddington Station. From Waterloo Station take the Bakerloo (brown) Line to Paddington Station. Exit in Praed Street and walk straight across in to London Street. At the end of London Street, before set of traffic lights on your left the hotel is. By Air ( London Heathrow) By Heathrow Express Train: direct high-speed trains run between Heathrow Airport (all terminals) to Paddington Station. Trains depart every 15 minutes and journey time is 15 minutes. Exit in Praed Street and walk straight across in to London Street. At the end of London Street, before set of traffic lights on your left the hotel is. By Air ( London Gatwick) By Gatwick Express Train: The Gatwick Express leaves from Gatwick Airport to Victoria station. Trains depart every 30 minutes and journey time is 40 minutes. From Victoria Station take the Circle (yellow) Line to Paddington station. By Air ( London Stansted) By Stansted Express Train: The Stansted Express leaves from Stansted Airport to Liverpool Street Station. Trains depart frequently and journey time is 30 minutes. From Liverpool Street Station take the Circle (yellow) Line to Paddington station. By Air ( London City ) A shuttle bus leaves frequently to Canning Town Station. From Canning Town Station take the Jubilee (silver) Line to Paddington station. By Air ( London Luton ): Train Take the free shuttle bus from the airport to Luton Parkway Station and the express train service from there to King's Cross Thameslink (40 minutes). Walk the short distance to King's Cross Station and take the Circle (yellow) Line direct to Paddington Station. Alternatively, take a taxi to the hotel. From London Luton the cost is from £75.00 and from King's Cross Station approximately £12.00, depending on traffic |

| Things To Do |
Hyde Park (Short walk) Hyde Park is one of the Royal Parks of London and was once the hunting ground for Henry VIII. It is one of the largest parks in London and well known for its Speaker's Corner, the Serpentine Lake and Rotten Row. The park is contiguous with Kensington Gardens, but is technically separate. Oxford Street London's busiest shopping street, with a mile of shops ranging from department stores such as John Lewis and DH Evans to top music shops such as HMV and Virgin to well known book shops. Selfridges is however the most famous shop on the street. It was built by an American, Gordon Selfridge in 1909. British Museum One of the world's largest and most important museums of human history and culture, the British Museum houses over seven million objects illustrating and documenting the story of human culture from its beginning to the present. Entrance to the museum is free. |
