The en suite rooms have a luminous fresh atmosphere and promote an air of elegance. Each one features a range of facilities including a desk and 32 LCD TV, high speed internet connection (charge applies), pay-TV channels, beds all equipped with high level comfortable mattresses and with six pillows -two hypo-allergenic-. All rooms have electronic safes- mini-bars- hairdryers and three telephones. With the system of the Palazzi dei Rolli, one of the Europe’s widest medieval centre. Here is what UNESCO says: the “Strade Nuove” and the system of the Palazzi dei Rolli, in Genoa’s historic centre (late 16th and early 17th centuries) represent the first example in Europe of an urban development project with a unitary framework, where the plans were specially parcelled out by a public authority and a particular system of ‘public lodging’, based on legislation. The Rolli palaces were residences built by the wealthiest and most powerful aristocratic families of the Republic of Genoa at the height of its financial and seafaring power. 2 miles ca. The Galata Museum of the Sea is the greatest maritime museum of the Mediterranean with more than 10.000 meters of exhibition space. Today in continuity with the past it is the place in which knowing the secular relationship between the man and the sea. In an innovative scenery, the faithful reconstruction of a genovese Galea of the '600, of a brig-schooner of the '800, the “Storm” room, the room of the “Italian Transatlantic” and more of 6000 original items which represent the fascinating man adventure on the sea. National Antarctic Musem is situated in the area of Porto Antico, the exhibit has the aim to promote the knowledge of the Antarctic continent and connected research activites with particular reference to the biological and ecological field.The museum represents an advanced realisation in the educational entertainment field. Scientific diffusion occurs through interactive and dynamic display. The itinerary offers to visitors the sight of Antarctic samples, spectacular films, reconstruction of the environment,all aimed to teach about a still unknown land which is so rich and fascinating. Cinque Terre" (five lands) is the name given to five fishing villages up the coast from Porto Venere, in a space of about 11 miles. The five villages hug the rugged coastline that supports very little vehicle traffic. The old villages are perched among the steep cliffs that reach to the water, and are accessible mostly by a train that winds through many tunnels high above the spectacular scenery. 80 miles ca. Portofino is known as the resort of the rich and famous, but there is much more to see here than just people. Portofino is a picturesque, half-moon shaped seaside village with pastel houses lining the shore of the harbor. Portofino's crystalline green waters reveal a myriad display of aquatic life. A XVI century castle, guided tour is also available, sits atop the hill overlooking the village. Reduced green fees to access Golf Club Rapallo or Sant’Anna Golf Club in Cogoleto (both 30 km far from our Hotel). |
