Ideal accommodation for all travellers and families being self contained and serviced. A high standard is maintained with staff taking pride in this property. Main road location, 5 minute walk to beach, 10 minute walk to town centre,restaurants and many major attractions. The home of NewZealand Jade (Pounamu)where you can design and carve your own jewelery. Numerous walkways. Bone carving, sculptor, pottery and many other arts and crafts. Rafting, canoeing, river cruises, kayaking, scenic flights, classic car rentals, museums and theatre, as well as a choice of fine restaurants and cafes. The annual Hokitika 'Wild Foods' festival in March is a 'must do' if you are visiting at this time of year. The local delicacy whitebait is a seasonal fish caught between 1st september and the middle of November in principally the Hokitika River as well as many other smaller streams which flow to the sea. Sea and freshwater fishing in rivers and lakes. Daily flights to and from Christchurch. Glow worm dell. Scenic drives. |
