Walton House offers 4 ½ star accommodation in a location that allows you to walk to a choice of three restaurants and be at the most central location from which to explore every attraction in southern Tasmania. Our accommodation has been purpose built to embrace the character of the original home (c1900) while providing our guests with the highest standards of quality and comfort. A separate guest entrance to the property ensures your privacy. All rooms are beautifully appointed with Queen size beds, electric blankets, modern ensuites, thermostatically controlled heating, tea and coffee making facilities, fully stocked minibars plus complimentary Penfolds port and Cadbury Favourites. Wake up relaxed and enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast. Choose from a selection of breakfast cereals, breads, crumpets, fresh fruit, yoghurt, juices as well as your choice of leaf tea or a cappuccino. From Hobart, take the A6 and follow the signs to Huonville. Drive through the town, across the bridge over the river and Walton House is 150 metres on your right. |

| Things To Do |
Have a quick look at a map of the area and you'll see that Huonville is ideally situated to explore the southern region of Tasmania. Journey along the Huon Trail and pick out the attractions that suit you. The Tahune Airwalk, Hastings Caves and Thermal Springs and the Huon jet boat are all close by. Take a trip to Bruny Island. Catch a fish at the local trout fishery or enjoy a fish at a selection of local restaurants and wineries. Take a drive or a walk through an area where natural beauty abounds. |
