We offer good old fashioned country hospitality with modern, well equipped facilities. Our cabins are all self contained with ensuite, full kitchen facilities, air conditioner and television and DVD players. Our superior cabins now have Austar for your enjoyment. Some cabins have a queen size bed. Our family units offer room for large families. The park offers landscaped grounds containing a resort style pool with wading area, wood fired sauna, jumping pillow for the children, bar-b-cues and camp kitchen and even a fire pit for evening camp fires. Wireless Internet is available as are fax and photocopying facilities and use of luggage storage and a safe. We are next to the Charters Towers Golf Course and within walking distance of the RSL and local restaurants. Dalrymple is only 2 kilometres from the city so is ideally located for sight seeing excursions or business trips. |

| Getting There |
We are located on the Lynd Highway, 2 kilometres to the north of Charters Towers. We are approx. 135 kms from Townsville From the east, come straight towards town until you reach the "Undara and Lynd Highway" sign, turn right and continue 500 metres. We are on the left. From the west and south, turn left when you see the "City Centre" sign, continue up the main street to the T junction (the Information Centre will be directly ahead of you), turn right and follow this road 2 kilometres. From the north, we are next to the Golf Course on the right as you enter town. |

| Things To Do |
Charters Towers is a town rich in history, reminiscent of the rich gold mining days. Take the One Square Mile Walk around town or follow the CD guided driving tour. See the "Ghosts of Gold" film at the Towers Hill Lookout or listen to the "Calling of the Card" at the Stock Exchange Building. The Venus Gold battery brings home the hardships of the workers back at the turn of the 19th century. The drive-in theatre here is one of only 6 remaining in Queensland and screens every weekend. January each year sees the Goldfield Ashes, a local cricket tournament between many teams of all grades. Motocross events are held regularly as are many other sports. In May the Country Music Festival is held with many associated events in the week prior to the concert. |
