Getting There	Turn off Highway 6 (marked with a bed sign)into Halliday Road. Maple Lodge Wanaka can be found 500 metres on the right hand side. Queenstown airport is 50 minute drive via the scenic crown range (SH89) road

Things To Do	Wanaka and the surrounding area offer a fabulous range of activities. If you are feeling active you can enjoy everything from a game of golf, skydiving or skiing. Being at the gateway to the Mount Aspiring National Park you can enjoy a simple walk by Lake Wanaka, go tramping in the nearby mountains or to visit Rob Roy Glacier. For a more leisurely day why not try out local wines, a visit to Puzzling World, the Warbirds and Wheels museum or a boat trip on Lake Wanaka is not to be missed. Wanaka is also perfectly located for day trips further afield to Queenstown, Arrowtown or Glenorchy to explore this area's rich gold mining history and astounding natural scenery. And, at the end of the day choose from one of Wanaka's amazing variety of restaurants serving fabulous food using local ingredients and, of course, a glass of local wine or beer.
