This family run and owned hotel dates back to the early 17th century and built as the gatehouse to Boxmoor House. Extended for additional accommodation including conferencing facilities, the hotel, now with 25 well equipped comfortable rooms including all modern facilities guests would expect. The 25 traditionally furnished rooms at Boxmoor Lodge Hotel are fully equipped for either double or twin occupancy. All rooms may be reserved as singles if required. All bedrooms are en-suite and have colour television (including satellite channels at no extra charge), direct dial telephone with modem point, hospitality trays for tea and coffee making, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Family rooms including cots are available on request. A specially designed room for disabled guests is also available at the hotel. The restaurant has been designed in elegant surroundings, and overlooks the hotel gardens. The candlelit atmosphere provides the perfect setting for fine dining. Chefs Jason Burgh and Alan Bateman, lead by Head Chef, Stuart Ambury have a real passion for food preparation and presentation. They use only the finest quality GM free ingredients for your pleasure and enjoyment. Boxmoor Lodge is situated just off the A41 (Hemel Hempstead Junction) FROM M1: Exit at J8, Follow signs to Hemel Hempstead Railway Station (will be on left), continue straight over on roundaboutand under 2 bridges. The Lodge is just before the traffic lights on the Left. FROM M25: Exit by J20 onto A41 dual carriageway until reaching Hemel Hempstead Junction, then follow signs to Hemel Hempstead Railway Station, continue straight over roundabout and under two bridges, Lodge will be on left just before traffic lights. |
