While here snorkel or dive the Great Barrier Reef or view it from a semi-submersible boat. Sail to a Tropical Island or maybe try fishing the brilliant blue waters. Fish for a Baramundi in the Daintree River or up the Inlet. Take Skyrail up to Kuranda and come down by train. Enjoy the World Heritage tropical rainforest in Daintree National Park or Cape Tribulation. Experience a 4WD adventure to Bloomfield Falls or Cooktown. Cruise the Daintree River to see crocodiles and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Throw a boomerang and experience the Aboriginal culture at Tjapukai or Rainforest Station. See the snake and crocodile show at Hartleys Creek. Do a bird & wildlife spotting tour either early morning, during the day or at night. Enjoy "Breakfast with the Birds" at the Rainforest Habitat. Play a round of golf on one of our 2 world class golf courses. For the more adventurous there is white water rafting on the Tully River – or on the Barron river for the less adventurous; early morning balloon flights; horse riding in the rainforest or on the beach; parasailing or jet ski riding off 4 Mile Beach; bike & hike in the rainforest; be a working crew member on a racing yacht. If all this seems too much, then just relax on the beach or around our pools. |
